Post-Jam QoL/Balance Update


Thanks all for playing and voting on Doggy Dog World!

After a little more feedback, I made a few tweaks now that the jam is over:

  • If you're not playing with a touch device, Dog will tell you you don't have to click to draw.
  • There's now a setting to speed up Dog's drawing (Dog does get faster at drawing for each circle that completes, but it can be hard to notice since it's pretty gradual).
  • Lowered most inspiration costs and made the final pressure upgrade slightly more powerful (This is partially reversing some last-minute tweaks before submission that I ultimately wasn't happy with. I don't want this game to stall too much even if you aren't playing optimally).
  • Changed wording of "Consume" to "Reagent" on circle builder. Let's not "consume" dogs lol.
  • Bugfix in pressure handling for inspiration-generating circles.

This will be the last update unless I broke something horribly that I didn't catch in my half an hour of playtesting >.>
